Its isnad is sahih. Mutamir bin Rayyan was deemed reliable by Abu Hatim, quoting from Ibn Qattan, but he corrected his name to be Mustamir bin Rayyan, and Mustamir is also reliable. See al-Jarh wal-Tadil 8/430, no. 1968. The hadith was mentioned previously at 11208.
