The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man has the greater right to the front of his mount, and the greater right to his seat when he returns to it."
حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل بن رافع عن محمد بن يحيى عن عمه واسع بن حبان
عن النبي ﷺ قال الرجل أحق بصدر دابته وأحق بمجلسه إذا رجع
Its chain of transmission is daif because of Ismail bin Rafi, whom the majority of scholars deemed weak, while Bukhari deemed him reliable, as Haythami stated (8/61). The hadith is sahih according to Darimi (2/371, no. 2666) and Ibn Abu Shayba (3/372, no. 5525).
