Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There will arise from my nation the Mahdi. Whether his life is long or short, he will live for seven, eight, or nine years. He will fill the earth with justice and equity, the earth will bring forth its vegetation, and the sky will pour down its rain."

حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا موسى يعني الجهني قال سمعت زيدا العمي قال حدثنا أبو الصديق الناجي قال سمعت

أبا سعيد الخدري قال

قال النبي ﷺ يكون من أمتي المهدي فإن طال عمره أو قصر عمره عاش سبع سنين أو ثمان سنين أو تسع سنين يملأ الأرض قسطا وعدلا وتخرج الأرض نباتها وتمطر السماء قطرها
