Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am about to be called and to answer the call. I leave behind among you two weighty things, the Book of Allah and my family. The Book of Allah is a rope extended from the heavens to the earth, and my family is the people of my household. The Subtle, the All-Aware has informed me that the two will not part from one another until they meet me at the Pool. So consider how you treat them after me."

عن النبي ﷺ قال إني أوشك أن أدعى فأجيب وإني تارك فيكم الثقلين كتاب الله عز وجل وعترتي كتاب الله حبل ممدود من السماء إلى الأرض وعترتي أهل بيتي وإن اللطيف الخبير أخبرني أنهما لن يفترقا حتى يردا علي الحوض فانظروني بم تخلفوني فيهما
