He testifies that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade him from doing that, and forbade him from facing the qiblah while urinating. This follows the hadith of Ibn Lahiah from Abu Zubayr, who said, "I asked Jabir about a man drinking while standing."Jabir replied, "We used to dislike that."Then he mentioned the hadith of Abu Saeed.

يشهد أن رسول الله ﷺ زجره عن ذلك وزجره أن يستقبل القبلة لبول وهذا يتلو حديث ابن لهيعة عن أبي الزبير قال سألت جابرا عن الرجل يشرب وهو قائم فقال كنا نكره ذاك ثم ذكر حديث أبي سعيد
