The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am leaving among you two weighty things, one of them greater than the other. The Book of Allah, a rope extended from the heavens to the earth, and my family, the people of my household. These two shall never part until they return to me at the Pond."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر أخبرنا أبو إسرائيل يعني إسماعيل بن أبي إسحاق الملائي عن عطية
قال رسول الله ﷺ إني تارك فيكم الثقلين أحدهما أكبر من الآخر كتاب الله حبل ممدود من السماء إلى الأرض وعترتي أهل بيتي وإنهما لن يفترقا حتى يردا علي الحوض
