The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Sufyan said, "I do not know whether this is from Attab," "If Allah were to withhold rain from people for seven years and then send it down, a group of them would still become disbelievers because of it, saying, 'We were given rain by the star Mijdah.'"
حدثنا سفيان سمع عمرا عن عتاب بن حنين يحدث
قال رسول الله ﷺ وقال سفيان لا أدري من عتاب لو أمسك الله القطر عن الناس سبع سنين ثم أرسله لأصبحت طائفة به كافرين يقولون مطرنا بنوء المجدح
