The Prophet ﷺ mentioned a people who would appear in his nation, emerging during a time of division among the people. Their distinguishing mark would be shaved heads. They are the worst of creation, or among the worst of creation. The group closer to the truth, of two contending groups, would kill them.The Prophet ﷺ then gave a parable about them, or made a statement, saying that they are like a man who shoots at game, or at a target, and then examines the arrowhead but finds no trace of blood, examines the shaft but finds no trace, and examines the notch but finds no trace.Abu Saeed said, "And you, people of Iraq, are the ones who killed them."
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن سليمان عن أبي نضرة
أن النبي ﷺ ذكر قوما يكونون في أمته يخرجون في فرقة من الناس سيماهم التحليق هم شر الخلق أو من شر الخلق يقتلهم أدنى الطائفتين من الحق قال فضرب النبي ﷺ لهم مثلا أو قال قولا الرجل يرمي الرمية أو قال الغرض فينظر في النصل فلا يرى بصيرة وينظر في النضي فلا يرى بصيرة وينظر في الفوق فلا يرى بصيرة قال قال أبو سعيد وأنتم قتلتموهم يا أهل العراق
