The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of Paradise."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الزبيري حدثنا يزيد بن مردانبة قال حدثنا ابن أبي نعم
قال رسول الله ﷺ الحسن والحسين سيدا شباب أهل الجنة
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr is trustworthy and firmly reliable, Ibn Abu Numa is Abdul-Rahman, who is trustworthy and was mentioned shortly before, and Yazid bin Mardanbah is truthful. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi 5/656, number 3768, in the Book of Virtues, chapter on the virtues of Hasan and Husayn, and by Ibn Majah 1/44, number 118, in the introduction. Hakim also narrated it 1/44 and graded it sahih, but Dhahabi disagreed with him on this ruling, and Dhahabi is not among the narrators of this particular chain.
