The Prophet ﷺ said, "The deceased recognizes who carries him, who washes him, and who lowers him into his grave."Ibn Umar, who was in the gathering, asked, "From whom did you hear this?"He replied, "From Abu Saeed."So Ibn Umar went to Abu Saeed and asked, "Abu Saeed, from whom did you hear this?"He answered, "From the Prophet ﷺ."

Its isnad is daif, containing an unknown narrator, and it has been narrated through several unknown chains. It will come again at 11543. Haythami said in 3/21, "It contains someone for whom I found no biography," and he attributed it to Ahmad and to Tabarani in Al-Kabir. Abu Naeem cited it in Tarikh Isbahan 1/208 through the route of Fadl bin Marzuq, from Atiya Awfi, from Abu Saeed, and Awfi practiced tadlis regarding him, so it is also daif for that reason.
