I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No one will enter the Fire without first being shown the place he would have occupied in Paradise had he done good, so that it becomes a source of regret for him. And no one will enter Paradise without first being shown the place he would have occupied in the Fire had he done evil, so that his gratitude may increase."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد حدثنا ابن أبي الزناد عن أبيه عن الأعرج
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لا يدخل أحد النار إلا أري مقعده من الجنة لو أحسن ليكون عليه حسرة ولا يدخل الجنة أحد إلا أري مقعده من النار لو أساء ليزداد شكرا
