The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am the master of the children of Adam, the first whose grave will split open, the first to intercede, and the first whose intercession will be accepted."
حدثنا محمد بن مصعب حدثنا الأوزاعي عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة
عن النبي ﷺ قال أنا سيد ولد آدم وأول من تنشق عنه الأرض وأول شافع وأول مشفع
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Sunnah, in the chapter on choosing between the prophets, 4/218 no. 4673, and Tirmidhi narrated it 5/308 no. 3148 at the beginning of the chapter on merits, and with similar wording Muslim narrated it 4/1782 no. 2278 in the chapter on virtues, and Ibn Majah narrated it 2/1440 no. 4308.
