When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was about to depart from Mina, he said, "Tomorrow, Allah willing, we shall camp at al-Muhassab, in the valley of Banu Kinanah, where they swore their pact of unbelief." This was because Quraysh had taken an oath against Banu Hashim and Banu Muttalib that they would neither intermarry with them nor associate with them until they handed over the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to them.
