Its isnad is hasan. Tirmidhi narrated it with this wording, 3/542, no. 1248, and said, gharib. Abu Dawud narrated something similar, 3/273, no. 3458, in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on the option of the two parties in a sale, as did Ibn Majah in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on the two parties having the option in a sale.Yahya bin Ayub bin Abu Zura bin Amr bin Jareer Bajali was accepted by some, deemed reliable by others, and graded daif by some.
