I went out with the Prophet ﷺ into a garden, and he said, "Abu Hurayrah, the wealthy are the ones who will be ruined, except for the one who gives like this and like this, and such people are few."Then I walked along with him, and he said, "Shall I guide you to one of the treasures of Paradise? It is, 'There is no power and no strength except through Allah.'"Then he said, "Abu Hurayrah, do you know what Allah's right is over His servants?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "His right is that they worship Him and not associate anything with Him."Then he said, "Do you know what the servants' right is over Allah? Their right over Allah, when they do that, is that He will not punish them."I asked, "Should I not inform the people of this?"He said, "Leave them, let them keep working."
حدثنا أبو أحمد حدثنا جابر بن الحر النخعي عن عبد الرحمن بن عابس عن كميل بن زياد
خرجت مع النبي ﷺ في حائط فقال يا أبا هريرة هلك الأكثرون إلا من قال هكذا وهكذا وقليل ما هم فمشيت معه ثم قال ألا أدلك على كنز من كنوز الجنة لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله قال ثم قال يا أبا هريرة تدري ما حق الله على العباد قلت الله ورسوله أعلم قال حقه أن يعبدوه لا يشركوا به شيئا ثم قال تدري ما حق العباد على الله فإن حقهم على الله إذا فعلوا ذلك أن لا يعذبهم قلت أفلا أخبرهم قال دعهم فليعملوا
