The Prophet ﷺ instructed that the surahs mentioning the heavens be recited in the Isha prayer.
حدثنا أبو سعيد حدثنا حماد بن عباد السدوسي قال أخبرنا أبو المهزم يحدث
أن النبي ﷺ أمر أن يقرأ بالسموات في العشاء
Its isnad is daif, containing Abu Muhazzim, Yazid bin Sufyan, whom Bukhari declared daif in his Tarikh, as did Nasai, Ibn Adi, and others."The heavens" here means the surahs "By the sky containing great stars" and "By the sky and the night comer."
