The Prophet ﷺ said, "You will find people to be like mines. The best of them in the Days of Ignorance are the best of them in Islam, provided they gain understanding of the religion. You will find that among the best of people regarding this matter of leadership are those who were most reluctant to take it on before entering into it. And you will find that among the worst of people is the two-faced one, who comes to these with one face and to those with another."
