The Prophet ﷺ said, "The likeness of a believer is like a fresh stalk of grain. Whichever way the wind blows, it bends it down, and when the wind dies down, it straightens up again. Likewise, the believer is bent by trials. The likeness of the disbeliever is like a cedar tree, firm and upright, which Allah snaps whenever He wills."

أن النبي ﷺ قال مثل المؤمن مثل خامة الزرع من حيث انتهى الريح كفتها فإذا سكنت اعتدلت وكذلك مثل المؤمن يتكفأ بالبلاء ومثل الكافر مثل الأرزة صماء معتدلة يقصمها الله إذا شاء
