Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the last third of the night remains, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Who is calling upon Me that I may answer him? Who is seeking My forgiveness that I may forgive him? Who is asking Me for sustenance that I may provide for him? Who is seeking relief from hardship that I may relieve him?' This continues until dawn breaks."Abu Amir reported from Abu Jafar that he heard this from Abu Hurayrah.

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقول إذا بقي ثلث الليل ينزل الله عز وجل إلى سماء الدنيا فيقول من ذا الذي يدعوني أستجب له من ذا الذي يستغفرني أغفر له من ذا الذي يسترزقني أرزقه من ذا الذي يستكشف الضر أكشفه حتى ينفجر الصبح قال أبو عامر عن أبي جعفر أنه سمع أبا هريرة
