The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you will be saved by his deeds."They asked, "Not even you, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me with mercy from Himself."
حدثنا سليمان بن داود حدثنا شعبة عن أبي زياد الطحان
عن النبي ﷺ قال ما منكم من أحد ينجيه عمله قالوا ولا أنت يا رسول الله قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ziyad Tahhan, the freedman of Hasan bin Ali, was deemed reliable by the scholars. The hadith has already appeared at number 10562.
