When the verse "And warn your closest kinsmen" [Shuara 26:214] was revealed, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ stood up and said, "Sons of Kaab bin Luayy, save yourselves from the Fire. Sons of Hashim, save yourselves from the Fire. Sons of Abd Manaf, save yourselves from the Fire. Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, save yourself from the Fire. I cannot avail you anything against Allah, except that you have ties of kinship which I will keep moist with their due moisture."
حدثنا هشام بن عبد الملك حدثنا أبو عوانة عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن موسى بن طلحة
لما نزلت {وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين} قام نبي الله ﷺ فقال يا بني كعب بن لؤي يا بني هاشم أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا بني عبد مناف أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا فاطمة بنت محمد أنقذي نفسك من النار فإني لا أملك لكم من الله شيئا غير أن لكم رحما سأبلها ببلالها
