I was a man who experienced frequent prostatic discharge, but I felt too embarrassed to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it directly, since his daughter was my wife. So I asked another man to inquire on my behalf, and he said, "It requires ablution."

Its chain of transmission is sahih, except for the narration of Abdullah bin Ahmad from Sufyan bin Waki, which is daif, as previously mentioned in 557.
