It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that Allah has one hundred mercies, and that He apportioned a single mercy among the people of the earth, and it sufficed them until the ends of their appointed terms, while He stored up ninety-nine mercies for those devoted to Him. Allah
will take back that mercy which He apportioned among the people of the earth and add it to the ninety-nine, completing them as one hundred mercies for those devoted to Him on the Day of Resurrection.Muhammad said in his account of this, "Muhammad bin Sirin and Khilas both narrated this hadith to me from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, to the same effect."
