The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "At every gate of the mosque on Friday there are angels recording the arrival of each man. Once the imam sits down, the records are folded up. The one who comes earliest is like one who offers a camel as sacrifice, the next is like one who offers a cow, the next is like one who offers a sheep, the next is like one who offers a chicken, and the next is like one who offers an egg."

قال رسول الله ﷺ على كل باب مسجد يوم الجمعة ملائكة يكتبون مجيء الرجل فإذا جلس الإمام طويت الصحف فالمهجر كالمهدي جزورا والذي يليه كمهدي البقرة والذي يليه كمهدي الشاة والذي يليه كمهدي الدجاجة والذي يليه كمهدي البيضة
