The Prophet ﷺ came out to his companions while they were discussing truffles. They were saying, "We consider them to be the smallpox of the earth."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Truffles are a type of manna, and their water is a cure for the eye. The Ajwa date is from Paradise, and it is a cure for poison."

أن النبي ﷺ خرج على أصحابه وهم يذكرون الكمأة قالوا تراها جدري الأرض فقال رسول الله ﷺ الكمأة من المن وماؤها شفاء للعين والعجوة من الجنة وهي شفاء من السم
