The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A prostitute was forgiven because she passed by a dog at the edge of a well, panting and nearly dying of thirst. She removed her shoe, tied it to her headscarf, and drew up water for it. For this, she was forgiven."
حدثنا إسحاق أخبرنا عوف عن أنس بن سيرين قال عوف ولا أعلمه إلا
قال رسول الله ﷺ غفر لامرأة مومسة مرت بكلب على رأس ركي يلهث قد كاد يقتله العطش فنزعت خفها فأوثقته بخمارها فنزعت له من الماء فغفر لها بذلك
