Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not exchange insults while you are fasting. If anyone insults you, say, 'I am fasting.' If you are standing, sit down. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell of the fasting person's mouth is more pleasing to Allah than the fragrance of musk."

حدثنا يزيد وأبو عامر قالا أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن عجلان مولى المشمعل وقال أبو عامر مولى حكيم وقال أبو أحمد الزبيري مولى حماس

عن أبي هريرة

عن النبي ﷺ لا تساب وأنت صائم فإن شتمك أحد فقل إني صائم وإن كنت قائما فاقعد والذي نفس محمد بيده لخلوف فم الصائم أطيب عند الله من ريح المسك
