The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever introduces a misguided practice that others follow will bear a burden equal to theirs, without their burdens being lessened in the slightest. And whoever introduces a guided practice that others follow will receive a reward equal to theirs, without their rewards being lessened in the slightest."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا سفيان قال سمعت الحسن يحدث
قال رسول الله ﷺ من سن سنة ضلال فاتبع عليها كان عليه مثل أوزارهم من غير أن ينقص من أوزارهم شيء ومن سن سنة هدى فاتبع عليها كان له مثل أجورهم من غير أن ينقص من أجورهم شيء
