The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the call to prayer is made, Satan flees, breaking wind as he goes. When the muezzin falls silent, he returns and whispers between a person and his own soul until he makes him forget his prayer, so that he no longer knows how much he has prayed. Whoever experiences any of this should perform two prostrations."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا محمد عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا ثوب بالصلاة أدبر الشيطان له ضراط وإذا سكت المؤذن خطر بين أحدكم وبين نفسه حتى ينسيه صلاته فلا يدري كم صلى فمن وجد من ذلك شيئا فليسجد سجدتين
