The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Were it not for the Hijrah, I would have been one of the Ansar. If people took one valley or mountain pass and the Ansar took another valley or mountain pass, I would take the valley and pass of the Ansar."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا محمد عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ لولا الهجرة لكنت امرأ من الأنصار ولو أن الناس سلكوا واديا أو شعبة وسلكت الأنصار واديا أو شعبة لسلكت وادي الأنصار وشعبتهم
