The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah's right hand is full, never diminished by any spending, pouring forth night and day."He said, "Have you considered how much He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? Yet what is in His right hand has not diminished."He continued, "His Throne is upon the water, and in His other hand is the Scale, which He lowers and raises."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا محمد عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ يمين الله ملأى لا يغيضها نفقة سحاء الليل والنهار وقال أرأيتكم ما أنفق منذ خلق السماء والأرض فإنه لم يغض ما في يمينه قال وعرشه على الماء بيده الأخرى الميزان يخفض ويرفع
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari related it in 13/403, no. 7419 (Fath) in the Book of Tawhid, chapter "And His throne was upon the water," and in the tafsir, 8/352, no. 4684, Surah Hud. Muslim related it in 2/691, no. 993, in the Book of zakat, chapter on encouraging spending. Tirmidhi related it in 5/250, no. 3045, in the tafsir of Surah Maidah, and said, hasan sahih. And Ibn Majah related it in 1/71, no. 971, in the Introduction.
