The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah rejoices more at the repentance of His servant than any one of you would at finding his lost camel in a barren land, with his food and drink upon it."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا محمد عن موسى بن يسار
قال رسول الله ﷺ الله أفرح بتوبة عبده من أحدكم بضالته في فلاة من الأرض عليها طعامه وشرابه
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari related it in 8/84, in the Book of Supplications, chapter on repentance, as did Muslim in 4/2102, number 2675 (in the repeated numbering), and Ibn Majah in 2/1419, number 4249, in the Book of Asceticism, the chapter mentioning repentance.10446m - He said, and Abu Qasim ﷺ said, Allah said, "When My servant comes to Me a hand span closer, I come to him an arm's length closer. When he comes to Me an arm's length closer, I come to him a fathom closer. And when he comes to Me walking, I come to him running."Sahih (10446m). Its chain of transmission is sahih.
