The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should say, 'Allah, forgive me if You will. Allah, have mercy on me if You will.' Rather, let him be firm in his request, for there is none who can compel Him."Abdullah said, "This is how it was in my father's book, written in clear script, 'And the surplus of water is not to be withheld so as to thereby withhold the surplus of pasture.'"
