He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, when I see you my soul is at ease and my eyes find delight. Tell me about everything."He replied, "Everything was created from water."The man said, "Tell me of a deed by which, if I do it, I will enter Paradise."He said, "Spread the greeting of peace, speak kindly, maintain ties of kinship, and stand in prayer at night while people sleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace."
حدثنا عبد الصمد قال حدثنا همام قال حدثنا قتادة عن أبي ميمونة
أنه أتى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إذا رأيتك طابت نفسي وقرت عيني فأنبئني عن كل شيء فقال كل شيء خلق من ماء قال فأنبئني بعمل إن عملت به دخلت الجنة قال أفش السلام وأطب الكلام وصل الأرحام وقم بالليل والناس نيام تدخل الجنة بسلام
Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi related it (1854) in the Book of Foods, chapter on the merit of feeding people, Ibn Majah (1334) in the Book of Establishing Prayer, chapter on what has been said about the night prayer, and Darimi (1460) in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the merit of night prayer.
