Hasan Basri reported,

It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If any of you is fasting and forgets, eating and drinking, let him complete his fast, for Allah has fed him and given him drink."

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا عوف

عن الحسن قال

بلغني أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا كان أحدكم صائما فنسي فأكل وشرب فليتم صومه فإن الله عز وجل أطعمه وسقاه
