Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah عز وجل prescribed Friday upon those who came before us, but they differed concerning it, and Allah guided us to it. So the people follow us in this. The Jews observe the next day, and the Christians the day after."

Its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it with this wording in 3/87, in the chapter on Friday prayer, on the obligation of Friday prayer with this wording, Bukhari in 2/2, in the chapter on Friday prayer, on the obligatory nature of Friday prayer, and Muslim likewise in the chapter on Friday prayer, 2/586, number 855, both with similar wording.
