The Prophet ﷺ said, "Locusts of gold were sent down upon Ayub, and he began gathering them up. Allah said, 'Ayub, have I not made you rich enough?' He replied, 'My Lord, who could ever have his fill of Your mercy?'" Or he said, "of Your bounty?"
حدثنا سليمان بن داود وهو أبو داود الطيالسي قال حدثنا همام عن قتادة عن النضر بن أنس عن بشير بن نهيك
عن النبي ﷺ قال أرسل على أيوب جراد من ذهب فجعل يلتقطه فقال ألم أغنك يا أيوب فقال يا رب ومن يشبع من رحمتك أو قال من فضلك
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari related it (1/387, no. 279) in the chapter on ghusl, on one who performs ghusl naked, and in the chapter on the Prophets, regarding the saying of Allah Most High, "And remember Our servant Ayub" [Sad 38:41]. Nasai also related it (11/20) in the chapter on ghusl, on concealing oneself while performing ghusl.
