The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People are like mines, varying in their qualities of good and evil. The best of you in the days of ignorance are the best of you in Islam, provided they gain understanding of the religion."

قال رسول الله ﷺ الناس معادن في الخير والشر خياركم في الجاهلية خياركم في الإسلام إذا فقهوا
