I was a man who experienced frequent prostatic discharge, so I asked the Prophet ﷺ about it.He said, "When you see the prostatic discharge, perform ablution and wash your private part, and when you see the gushing of water, perform the full bath."I mentioned this to Sufyan, and he said, "I had already heard it from Rukayn."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا زائدة عن الركين بن الربيع عن حصين بن قبيصة
كنت رجلا مذاء فسألت النبي ﷺ فقال إذا رأيت المذي فتوضأ واغسل ذكرك وإذا رأيت فضخ الماء فاغتسل فذكرته لسفيان فقال قد سمعته من ركين
Its chain of transmission is sahih. The one who says at the end, "I mentioned it to Sufyan," is Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi, who heard it from Zaidah, then mentioned it to Sufyan Thawri, who told him that he had also heard it from Rukayn."Fadikh al-ma" (spelled with a fatha on the fa, a sakin on the dad, and ending with a kha) means its gushing forth, referring to semen.The hadith appears in abridged form at 868 and in full at 1026.
