Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the strap of one of your sandals breaks, do not walk in just one sandal. And if a dog licks the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times."Shuba said that Sulayman said, "Abu Razeen narrated to me, saying, 'I heard Abu Hurayra relating this in this mosque, wearing two striped cloaks.'"I asked Shuba whether his hadith was the same, and Shuba replied, "I did not hear him say the same regarding the dog licking the vessel."

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن ذكوان

عن أبي هريرة

عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال إذا انقطع شسع أحدكم فلا يمش في نعل واحدة وإذا ولغ الكلب في إناء أحدكم فليغسله سبع مرات قال شعبة قال سليمان وحدثني أبو رزين قال سمعت أبا هريرة يحدث به في هذا المسجد عليه بردان فقلت لشعبة مثل حديثه فقال شعبة لم أسمعه يقول مثله في الكلب يلغ في الإناء
