The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing the Samma garment and forbade a man from sitting wrapped in a single garment in such a way that exposes his private parts toward the sky.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا العمري عن خبيب بن عبد الرحمن عن حفص بن عاصم
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن لبس الصماء وأن يحتبي الرجل في الثوب الواحد يفضي بفرجه إلى السماء
Its isnad is hasan, in my view, because al-Umari - Abdullah bin Umar bin Hafs the devout - was approved of by Ahmad and Ibn Main, and Salih said, "Fairly good," and by Ibn Adi as well, especially since he has a corroborator in this hadith.
