A supplication I memorized from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ which I never abandon, "Allah, make me one who magnifies thanks to You, follows Your counsel, abounds in Your remembrance, and guards Your commandment."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا فرج بن فضالة عن أبي سعد الحمصي قال سمعت
دعاء حفظته من رسول الله ﷺ لا أدعه اللهم اجعلني أعظم شكرك وأتبع نصيحتك وأكثر ذكرك وأحفظ وصيتك
Its chain of transmission is daif here because of Faraj bin Fadala and Abu Saeed Himsi. Shaykh Shakir said regarding 8087 that it is extremely daif, but I do not consider it so, rather its weakness is slight, and the hadith concerns supplications and remembrances, so its weakness does not harm it, and it may be acted upon.The hadith is found in Tirmidhi 5/67, number 3676 of Tuhfa, where he said it is unusual (gharib), and in Tayalisi 1/256, number 1774.
