Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every deed of the son of Adam is multiplied, a single good deed receiving tenfold its like up to seven hundred times, or as much as Allah wills. Allah says, 'Except fasting, for it is for Me, and I shall reward it. He gives up his food and drink for My sake.'The fasting person has two moments of joy, a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. The breath of the fasting person is more fragrant to Allah than the scent of musk. Fasting is a shield. Fasting is a shield."

حدثنا وكيع حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة وعبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ كل عمل ابن آدم يضاعف الحسنة عشرة أمثالها إلى سبع مائة ضعف إلى ما شاء الله يقول الله عز وجل إلا الصوم فإنه لي وأنا أجزي به يدع طعامه وشرابه من أجلي وللصائم فرحتان فرحة حين يفطر وفرحة عند لقاء ربه ولخلوف فم الصائم أطيب عند الله عز وجل من ريح المسك الصوم جنة الصوم جنة
