The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The soul of the believer remains suspended as long as he has an outstanding debt."
حدثنا وكيع وأبو نعيم قالا حدثنا سفيان عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن عمر بن أبي سلمة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ نفس المؤمن معلقة ما كان عليه دين
Its isnad is sahih, it has passed at 9642.
