The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you dispute or disagree about a road, leave seven cubits for it."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد قال أخبرنا المثنى قال قتادة عن بشير بن كعب
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا تشاجرتم أو اختلفتم في الطريق فدعوا سبع أذرع
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim reported it, 3/1223, no. 1613, in the chapter on sharecropping, on determining the width of a road when people disagree about it. Tirmidhi reported it, 3/628, no. 1356, and said, hasan sahih. Ibn Majah reported it, 2/784, no. 2339.
