Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, as far as I know — Yahya was uncertain, "A Dinar you spend in the cause of Allah , a Dinar you spend on the needy, a Dinar you spend to free a slave, and a Dinar you spend on your family — the greatest in reward is the Dinar you spend on your family."

عن النبي ﷺ فيما أعلم شك يحيى قال دينار أنفقته في سبيل الله عز وجل ودينار في المساكين ودينار في رقبة ودينار في أهلك أعظمها أجرا الدينار الذي تنفقه على أهلك
