"I will show you a prayer closest to that of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Abu Hurairah used to recite the qunut in the final rakah of the noon prayer, the night prayer, and the dawn prayer after saying, "Allah hears whoever praises Him." He would supplicate for the believers and invoke curses upon the disbelievers.
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو قال حدثنا هشام عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة قال كان
لأقربن بكم صلاة رسول الله ﷺ فكان أبو هريرة يقنت في الركعة الآخرة من صلاة الظهر وصلاة العشاء الآخرة وصلاة الصبح بعدما يقول سمع الله لمن حمده ويدعو للمؤمنين ويلعن الكافرين
