The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the Ansar were to travel through a valley or a mountain pass, I would travel through the valley or the mountain pass of the Ansar. Were it not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man from among the Ansar."Abu Hurairah said, "He committed no injustice in saying so, may my father and mother be ransomed for him. They had given him shelter and supported him," or, "they had shared with him and supported him."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن قال حدثنا شعبة عن محمد بن زياد قال سمعت
عن النبي ﷺ قال لو سلكت الأنصار واديا أو شعبا لسلكت وادي الأنصار أو شعبهم ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرأ من الأنصار قال أبو هريرة وما ظلم بأبي وأمي لقد آووه ونصروه أو واسوه ونصروه
