Nazal bin Sabra reported,

When Ali had finished the noon prayer, he called for a jug of water in the courtyard, drank from it while standing, and then said, "Some men dislike doing this, but I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do exactly as you have just seen me do." He then wiped himself with what remained of the water and said, "This is the ablution of one who has not broken his ritual purity."

أن عليا رضي الله عنه لما صلى الظهر دعا بكوز من ماء في الرحبة فشرب وهو قائم ثم قال إن رجالا يكرهون هذا وإني رأيت رسول الله ﷺ فعل كالذي رأيتموني فعلت ثم تمسح بفضله وقال هذا وضوء من لم يحدث
