[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on what has been said about reciting the tashahhud silently, hadith no. 291, from the hadith of Yunus bin Bukayr with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib. Hakim graded it sahih (1/267) according to the standard of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Hasan bin Ubaydullah also narrated it from Abdul-Rahman bin Aswad with this wording, as found in Hakim (1/230).
